PORT FRANKS COMMUNITY POLICE COMMITTEE
"Community Policing" is a global concept in which anti social behavior is minimized by encouraging close cooperation between the OPP and the community, anticipating problems and addressing concerns before serious trouble emerges. Port Franks residents and property owners have volunteered time and effort for two decades, to work with the Forest Detachment of the OPPand the elected representatives of Lambton Shores Council. We are concerned with the operation of automobiles, off road vehicles, boats, and any other safety items that could affect the community. The committee feels strongly that a litter free community is one of the priorities to minimize serious crime, and has adopted Whatman/Nippigon Streets & Port Franks Road to keep them litter free. We urge all residents and visitors to help us keep Port Franks beautiful.
Meetings are held at 7:30PM the second Tuesday of the month ten times each year at the Port Franks Community Centre, 9997 Port Franks Rd.
